Developed in partnership with Ryan Companies US, Inc. — a national developer, designer, builder and manager providing full-service commercial real estate solutions — the Lafayette campus will span 42 acres, 23 of which are developable.

Scheduled to be complete with the employee move-in in the second half of 2022, the plan includes 400,000 square feet in two connected five-story buildings, which will house 1,100 employees. The Medtronic campus will bring together employees from the Boulder and Louisville facilities on a single campus. Medtronic’s current manufacturing operations at the Boulder and Louisville campuses will remain there.

Benefits for campus employees include a full-service cafeteria with indoor and outdoor seating, fitness center, outdoor outdoor spaces, areas for team activities, indoor and outdoor parking for bicycles, a 3/4 mile recreational loop and access to trails and public transportation.
